Really friendly staff. Rooms were fine. Breakfast think everyone turned up at same time to a little rushed for the lass taking orders. My full Scottish was ok but not presented very well and dry. My mate got porridge and it came in a big lump definitely not done with enough milk. Overall 7/10
Thoroughly enjoyed our staff at the Gilvenbank Hotel. The staff are very friendly, cheery and so helpful. The room we stayed in, room 4, was spotless, spacious and very tidy. The bed was comfy and we loved the siting area. The view was also nice as we looked on to trees, a grassy area and also the car park,which was quite busy. The meals on both nights were delicios and very reasonably priced. Our breakfasts were delicious and very filling, so much so that we didn't eat any lunch. The variety of food was good and the restaurant was always busy. The staff done great and we would like to thank the member of staff that served our breakfast to us on both mornings as she was full of fun and gave us a good laugh. We went to Gilvenbank Park,j just along from the hotel and it is lovely, well worth a visit. We would like to thank all the staff, you are all so hard working and do great. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here, we will definitely be back
We stayed here again for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. All the staff are so friendly, helpful and cheery. There is a massive car park at the front of the hotel. We stayed in room 4, which is very roomy and on the upper floor. The hotel does not have a lift but they have ground floor rooms. The meals are delicious, plentiful and on a Ftiday they do a burger offer. In the morning we had a full Scottish breakfast and it was scrumptious. You also get toast with tea or coffee. There is also fruit, cereal, croissants and fresh juice. We would like to thank Debbie for her banter and friendliness when serving our breakfast, you made our day. There was a quiz being held in the bar on Sunday night. Thank you to all staff for being so helpful, friendly and cheery. We will be back again.
Wow I can’t understand how this is. Only got a three star rating certainly deserves one more at least. From the moment from checking to departure everything was perfect. The staff were excellent and always there to help with a smile and extremely courteous. The food was excellent, and we thoroughly recommend you trying out the bottle when you’re here. The rooms were large and well appointed and extremely comfortable. Ali bonus the Juliet balcony on my room. Would definitely recommend you staying here.
I would say the best hotel in fife very clean throughout the building staff are great food is out of this world bar staff are excellent Daryos is excellent very helpful and friendly he always welcomes you with a smile and cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful I would recommend this hotel any day 100% the best

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Gilvenbank Hotel in Glenrothes. The hotel is beautifully set in a peaceful, green environment — a perfect place to relax and unwind. The property is well-maintained, welcoming, and full of charm. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. A special thank you to the entire staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. In particular, the manager was truly outstanding — such a kind, attentive, and genuine person who made us feel right at home. Everything was simply perfect, from the warm hospitality to the quality of the services. We highly recommend the Gilvenbank Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
Brilliant hotel,rooms are great spotless and comfortable.staff very friendly and helpful service was first class. Restaurant very pleasant and great selection on the menu.
